In 30 years of establishment, Viet Huong Flavour & Fragrance JSC has developed thousands of formulas for food, cosmetics, and processed foods, focusing on sustainable development.

After three decades of growth, from a trading company with just a few dozen employees in 1995, Viet Huong has become a leading manufacturer of food flavours and fragrances for the food and cosmetic industries, including perfumes, personal care, and household products, as well as savory extracts.

We place high importance on investing in technology, sample library, R&D laboratories, sensory analysis rooms, and quality control departments. All operate under strict testing procedures to ensure top-quality and food safety standards.

Three decades of growth

In 1995, Viet Huong Trading Company Limited was established by Mrs. Nguyen Thuy Quynh (CEO). She said: “In the early days of renovation, the local flavour industry was nascent but full of promise. The decision to invest was seen as a risky move, but it was deeply rooted in passion and ambition.”

In the early years, we persevered with the trading sector, overcoming periods of limited human resources and capital. A major turning point came in 2002 when Viet Huong partnered with the French firm Expressions Aromatiques (EA) and built its first factory in Vinh Loc Industrial Park, marking its transformation from trading to manufacturing. By 2009, the company achieved ISO 22000:2005 certification, affirming its capabilities in quality control and food safety.

From 2010, Viet Huong entered a period of robust growth, highlighted by the operation of its Long Hau Industrial Park factory in 2014. In 2020, the company further expanded its R&D capacity by collaborating with a Korean partner to build a factory dedicated to natural extracts—from meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables, and spices—serving the food processing, sauce, snack, and instant noodle industries. Viet Huong aims for sustainable development and seeks to contribute to the supply chain, enhancing the value of Vietnamese products in the international market.

Mrs. Nguyen Thuy Quynh, CEO of Viet Huong, stated that this 30-year journey is the result of sincere hard work, dedication from the staff, and the trust of customers, suppliers, and partners both locally and abroad. “We aspire to bring Viet Huong to the same level as the world’s leading flavour manufacturers, offering exquisite products that carry the rich essence of Vietnamese identity,” she said.

Focusing on Vietnamese Flavour Products

Over 30 years of development, we have focused on researching and innovating flavours tailored to Vietnamese consumers’ tastes while meeting international standards. With a workforce of nearly 200 employees, the enterprise operates a production system that holds prestigious certifications, including FSSC 22000, ISO 9001:2015, Halal Malaysia, Halal Indonesia, Sedex, etc.

In parallel with its manufacturing activities, Viet Huong actively participates in social responsibility programs, supporting the community and fostering a humanistic work environment where every employee is trained and nurtured as if in a family.

On October 10, during the 30th-anniversary event, the company’s leadership announced continued investment in technology and the expansion of international partnerships, intending to bring the Vietnamese flavour industry to the global stage.

Mr. Nguyen Tuyen, Chairman of the Board, shared that Việt Hương always focuses on serving the domestic market and partnering with Vietnamese manufacturers. He emphasized: “Our philosophy of service is that we are the extended arm of our customers. We strive to be an added-value resource for our clients, rather than just a conventional supplier,” he said.
