According to Mrs. Quynh, Viet Nam has a favorable geographical location spanning diverse climates and soil conditions, in which such biodiversity will create unique flavours. Through years of research and development, our flavour industry has achieved many significant goals. This not only contributes to the economy but also solidifies the Vietnamese trademark globally.

As the pioneer in this industry, Viet Huong Flavour and Fragrance JSC. continuously invest, innovate, and apply advanced manufacturing technologies from their international partnerships. These efforts have resulted in the development of thousands of flavour formulas, serving hundreds of domestic and international brands.

1995 – The Startup Stage: As Vietnam entered the Renovation period, Mrs. Nguyen Thuy Quynh, a graduate from General University of Ho Chi Minh City, began her career with an aspiration: to contribute to the development of Vietnam. She chose the fragrance and flavour industry as a bridge to bring the finest, most authentic Vietnamese essence to consumers through food and cosmetics products. On July 17, 1995, Viet Huong Trading Co., Ltd. was officially founded.

The stage of self-reliance and transformation (1995 – 2002): Viet Huong dedicated all its resources to trading. According to Mrs. Quynh, despite a difficult start with limited staff and resources, the spirit of determination remained unwavering.

In 2002 – 2009, a major turning point arrived when the company partnered with Expressions Aromatiques (EA) – a prestigious French flavour-house — and made the bold decision to construct its first factory in Vinh Loc Industrial Park.

This marked a pivotal transition from trading to manufacturing, showing Viet Huong’s determination to master technology and create Vietnamese-branded products. By 2009, Viet Huong achieved ISO 22000:2005 certification, affirming its product quality and steadily conquering increasingly stringent standards.

Founded 1995, Viet Huong has become a specialist in manufacturing food flavours, fragrances, extracts, and seasonings.

Growth and Strategic Collaboration (2010 – 2017): Viet Huong continued to expand its operation and prepare for a breakthrough: the inauguration of a large-scale factory at Long Hau Industrial Park. The factory operates in accordance with international standards, including a strict quality control department, R&D department, and highly advanced laboratories. This leap forward has significantly elevated Viet Huong’s stature, positioning the company as one of Vietnam’s leading flavour manufacturers.

Global Expansion and Innovation Phase (2018 – Present): Viet Huong has continuously expanded its R&D capabilities, collaborating with Korean partners to establish a specialized extraction factory for meat, poultry, seafood, vegetable, and spices. This strategic move aims to secure raw material supplies and diversify the product, catering to various sectors such as meat processing, sauces, dressings, snacks, and instant noodles.

According to Mrs. Quynh, Viet Huong today stands as a testament to a passionate journey, tireless efforts, and the steadfast commitment of our partners, customers, colleagues, and families. We clearly recognize the immense growth potential of the flavour industry in Vietnam.      

The steady growth of domestic manufacturers has created a clear demand for partners who can provide high-quality, stable materials and possess the capacity for long-term collaboration.
